FISHING
The billabong is several kilometers long when full so provides a large body of water for fishing for the native yellow belly or you may even be lucky enough to catch one of the Murray Cod that have escaped into the river. There are abundant redclaw and blueclaw yabbies so bring your yabby traps.
KAYAKING
Paddle a kayak or a stand up paddle board to explore the river or take your sailboard for a lap.
HIKING
Go for a hike to explore the natural environment, but we request you stay in the paddock so don't climb through any fences. There is an abundance of birdlife and native animals to see. There may be cattle grazing in the paddock, please don't disturb them especially as they come to the river to drink. You may catch sight of a mob of feral goats as they come for water.
NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
At night listen to the sounds of the night birds or you may hear the mournful howl of a dingo. Gaze at the myriad stars of the milky way. With the total darkness of being away from civilization the view of the stars is something that amazes those who haven't experienced it. You may be able to pick out a satellite moving across the sky like a star on the move.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Indulge in some photography. Capture the big sky sunrise or sunset of the outback and the magnificent stars of the milky way. Maybe some wildlife or the western scenery will catch your eye.
