Seasonal Weather Conditions
From April to October is normally our dry season. Significant rain can happen but it is unusual. Expect cool to cold nights with daytime very pleasant at the mid twenties to early thirties.
Road and Campsite conditions
The road from Longreach to the campsite is graded formed natural black soil. The road is in good condition, but remember it is a dirt road so please drive to the conditions. We recommend you keep an eye on the forecast as in the unlikely event we get out of season rain the roads quickly become impassable.
