We offer eleven private campsites on the banks of the Broadwater Billabong on the Thomson River. Campsites are natural and offer no facilities so it is essential that your are fully self contained with your own toilet and drinking water. The campsites are accessed by a natural black soil graded track suitable for four wheel drives and large offroad style caravans. All campsites can accommodate two vehicles with some being able to accommodate four. Fires are allowed except during fire bans and fire pits are provided at all campsites. Telstra mobile phone reception is available at most campsites and if not a short walk away from the trees along the river will enable calls to be made. Our camping fees are $10.00 per adult per day, children 17 and under are free.
We have firewood available for purchase, $10.00 for a 10Kg bag of the legendary gidyea timber. We source the firewood from old fence posts when fences are pulled down for replacement. If you would like to purchase through Hipcamps at the time of booking. If you require more during your stay please call or email us.
